Moshav Neve Ativ was established in 1970 by Rami Kalfon, a member of the prestigious commando unit Egoz. The Moshav's name (Ativ) is an acronym of the first letters of the names of four friends who fell during the battle for the Golan Heights – Abraham, Tuvia, Yair and Benjamin.
Neve Ativ, at 1,100 meters high, sits on the slopes of Mount Hermon, and overlooks the Hula Valley and the Naftali mountains.
In 1971, the members of Moshav Neve Ativ opened to the public a ski site on Mt. Hermon, only 15 minutes' drive from the moshav.
At Kalfon BaHermon, you will enjoy a European atmosphere,

a fabulous view, a country ambience, indulgent suites, warm and inviting cabins, a well-appointed garden and lobby and, in the summer months, a swimming pool.

In the winter – enjoy a variety of activities at the Hermon site, only 15 minutes from the moshav. All kinds of sport skiing, cable cars, sledding, and restaurants are available amid scenic panoramas of snow.
In the summer – a very short drive will bring you to where you can take full advantage of the wide range of activities available from the Golan Heights and Upper Galilee Councils: nature tours, dry sledding on the slopes, canoeing, kayaking and other river sports, off-road jeep tours, river hikes, and more.
